Obama Pal Rezko Arrested--Deemed Flight Risk
Yes, Wilmette's Tony Rezko--the thorn in the side of Barack Obama-- was arrested at his home this morning, and is currently in custody due to bond revocation. Rezko is indicted ; his trial is scheduled for February. At issue was a $3.5 million wire transfer to Rezko from Lebanon, of which Rezko is a native. Thanks for the link. You and Anne need police scanners, better to get the early morning frog march photos of Rezko.
Police scanners, how (sick) (fun) would that be!! I suppose those were federal marshalls who paid a call early this morning on Mr. Rezko, and scanners wouldn't have helped a bit. After all, we have been listening to (TV) (spin doctors) and this Rezko situation and his relation to Mr. Obama has been "thoroughly investigated and found to be nothing." What??!! Try telling that to the two talking heads on Chicago tonight, who begged to greatly differ.
Seems to be a lot of money flowing to Mr. Rezko from the middle East, which ought to raise a few questions in anyone's mind. Meantime, the average primary voter in other states is being cheated by the media by failing to investigate and report on this situation.
