Iran Toys with President-elect Obama

Remember when Barack Obama couldn't wait to take tea with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, assuming that the leader of Iran was dying to meet and chat with him? In a power move designed to make it perfectly clear to Obama who has the upper hand and to embarass, it was announced in Iran that two preconditions must be met before talks can commence: the US must leave the Middle East region and discontinue its support for Israel.

It appears that Obama's rush to grab power is backfiring on him, embroiling him in foreign entanglements even before he takes office.
