Impeachment Prosecutor's Closing Argument

Perhaps it was my imagination, but the Impeachment Prosecutor David Ellis seemed both shaken and angry in his closing argument, hitting his stride only toward the end of his speech which ended on a fairly weak note. Governor Blagojevich--who high tailed it out of Springfield on a state plane following his appearance in front of the Illinois Senate--was a tough act to follow and Ellis knew it. In what has been an amazingly controlled procedure by a legislature where fist fights aren't unheard of, Ellis' rebuttal has been the only evidence of hot tempers and and a charged atmosphere in Springfield.
