Joe Biden: Smart Choice
Perhaps Joe Biden might also convince Barack Obama that major announcements via text message are a little juvenile.
President Biden?
Barack America?

Why is the use of text messaging for major events "a little juvenile"? It is easy to do, inexpensive, gets the attention of the person receiving the message, and is being employed on a matter about which a large number of people are keenly interested. What is juvenile about that?
I am on the faculty and an administrator at a very large university in Chicago and text messaging is being used there as the means to notify the entire university community in the event of an emergency or a threat to the safety of the community. Such a use would certainly constitute a major announcement. Is that "a little juvenile" in your opinion?
Why is it juvenile to attempt to communicate with an audience using a medium that is expensive and with which most of the audience is familiar?
