Barack Obama: I Can See Russia!

Today I am off to church to pray for our country. I have never wanted to be wrong about a President so badly in my entire life. And I suppose it's the conservative in me that says I have never seen a person who has been elected but not inaugurated making an early start with podium graphics for the "Office of the President Elect." I can't decide whether I am more worried or disgusted.

As for whether Obama follows your preferences regarding the forms for the transition, who cares?

You have made it perfectly clear that you do not give a rat's tail about what your other fellow citizens think, either in your personal domain of Wilmette or elsewhere. If you had a point to make that would be one thing but the only thing on your mind appears to be relishing the role of sore loser.

As for praying for the country, the country can and will take care of itself just fine without your preferential access to the Lord above. It survived eight years of Bush and eight years of Clinton. It will prosper in the coming years, in spite of your racial preferences and your objections to the choice of the majority.

Hello Anon,

I am aware that there is a new government initiative to help the transition, but Barack Obama is totally over the top. If you are nuts about Barack Obama, there are thousands of blogs that perhaps you would rather visit.

Obviously, you don't give a rat's tail about what I think, and I will bet you know yourself a whole lot better than you know me. At least I hope. You make a lot of assumptions, mostly wrong and also very mean. If you are a standard issue Obama supporter, it doesn't speak well for him at all.
