Today's Poll Numbers Tell New Story: McCain Ahead

Will beehive hairdos and rimless glasses be the new fashion trend in Washington? Possibly so. According to today's numbers McCain has made a first--he is ahead in all major polls!

Yesterday's fresh face, Barack Obama, has gone on the attack against Palin, saying "Come on! I mean, words mean something, you can’t just make stuff up.” Unfortunately, Sen. Obama, on the same day, referred to himself as "Muslim" (he isn't, he corrected himself). Whether voters will remember that a couple of weeks ago Obama referred to running-mate Joe Biden as "the next president," and earlier claimed that he had visited 57 states in the United States. remains unknown.

While keeping your finger on the pulse of every passing poll and verbal misstep made by your opponents, have you noticed that the Bush Administration has carried out the largest government takeover and bailout ever undertaken?

The consensus judgment that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were "too big to fail" just shows that you do not need to be a democrat to be socialist and run up the national debt higher than it has ever been.

I guess my question is how are you going to blame Obama and Seals for this? This is a much bigger government bailout than even Clinton ever considered. It is bigger than the health care crisis, it is bigger than Iraq war, and it is bigger than the annual budget of Alaska (a month of the Iraq war).

Why should we even worry about voting for democrats if the republicans are going to adopt the democratic program of deficit spending, intrusive government regulation and oversight, and expansionist foreign policy lock, stock, and barrel?

We should vote for Kirk now, since he is supporting what has turned out to be a leftist democratic economic program!

In response to your question " guess my question is how are you going to blame Obama and Seals for this?" I'm not. Seals isn't an elected official and is no more responsible for the bail out than I am. Obama hasn't been in the Senate often enough to vote on almost anything.

"Why should we even worry about voting for democrats?" You think the Republicans are bad for doing socialist things? The democrats are worse.
