Gov. Blagojevich Impeached!

The Illinois legislature has finally gotten around to impeaching Gov. Blagojevich, after discussing impeachment for many months. Word leaked out last summer that Articles of Impeachment had been prepared. The trial starts January 26.

Team America has a good post, but the comments are even better.

UPDATE: After seeing the Gov. Blagojevich post-Impeachment press conference, I stand corrected. It was the Summer of 2007 when impeachment was first discussed.
