It's Senator Burris

Whatever else you may think of the situation surrounding the circumstances of Roland Burris' appointment to the Senate, or Roland Burris himself, the people in Illinois have been well served by him so far. In an age of Governors in track suits and politicians in swim trunks, Sen. Burris has conducted himself with the dignity and formality one would expect from a US Senator. His respect for this high office is clear. While I can't imagine that I will care for what will be his voting record, Roland Burris certainly has created some good PR for Illinois in a very troubled time. We wish him well in his new position.
